SureCare Glasgow is leading the way in changing this by committing to fairness and ensuring their team receives a fair day\u2019s pay for a hard day\u2019s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Directors Sammira and Sumaira, who head SureCare Glasgow, expressed their pride in achieving this milestone:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Care workers are the backbone of our service, making a real difference in the lives of others every single day. This commitment is about fairness and showing how much we value the people who make everything we do possible.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peter Kelly, Director of The Poverty Alliance, congratulated SureCare Glasgow on their achievement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;We all need an income that reflects the cost of living. Too many workers in Scotland earn less than the real Living Wage and face mounting financial challenges. The real Living Wage offers protection from these pressures. Congratulations to SureCare Glasgow for their leadership in becoming Living Wage accredited. We hope many more organisations follow suit.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gail Irvine, Living Wage Scotland Manager, also celebrated the news:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;We\u2019re delighted that SureCare Glasgow has joined the growing movement of nearly 3,750 Living Wage employers in Scotland.
