At SureCare Lewisham, we are expanding our dedicated team of Care Assistants to support people across our community. Whether you are new to care or have previous experience, we will support you every step of the way with training, guidance and genuine appreciation for the work you do.
Pay
- From £13.25 per hour
- Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays
- Paid mileage and travel time between care visits

Working Hours
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle, with shifts available in the mornings, evenings and weekends. Both full time and part time positions are available.
We do ask for a degree of flexibility, as all Care Assistants are required to work alternate weekends to provide consistent care for our clients.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their homes. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
- Supporting with meal preparation and supervising clients when taking medication.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Helping with light household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Promoting independence, dignity and respect in every interaction.
- Recording accurate care notes and updates using our OneTouch system.
- Every day is different, and your support will help people live safely and happily in the comfort of their own homes.
About You
We are looking for people who are:
- Caring, patient and compassionate.
- Reliable, dedicated and professional in their approach.
- Able to work flexibly, including alternate weekends.
- Good communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
- Organised, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Holders of a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Ideally, you will have previous experience in a care setting, although full training is provided to all successful candidates.
All roles are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, satisfactory references and completion of a probationary period.
