Pay

From £13.00 – £17.50 per hour.

Working Hours

Full-time or part-time role.

Mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekend shift patterns available.

Candidates required to be flexible to cover different shifts and work every other weekend as a minimum.

Role and Responsibilities

Our care workers will provide a range of care services for people in their own homes, including:

  • Daily living assistance: Helping with a range of general support tasks around a client’s home;
  • Personal care: Supporting clients with tasks like dressing, bathing, feeding and providing assistance for those with mobility issues; 
  • Medication support: Prompting and supervising clients to take regular medications, or administering medication to clients, in accordance with a client’s support plan;
  • Daily reports/records: Complete daily care records in a clear and professional manner.

Previous experience in a care role is desired but not essential, as full training is provided to all successful candidates.

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a range of transferable skills, including:

  • Ability to think clearly and process information
  • Commitment, dedication and attentiveness
  • Good time-keeping
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • A positive and sociable attitude
  • Good communication and English language skills

Full, clean, valid driver’s licence and access to own transport is desirable. In some cases, walkers/bicycle riders/public transport users may be accepted dependent on area.

Position will be subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance, satisfactory references and evidence of right to work in the UK.
