We are looking for the best care assistants to join our dedicated team to promote wellbeing, choice and dignity to those who really deserve it.

SureCare Wycombe & Chiltern are offering both full and part-time positions to those who stand out from the rest! This is an exciting opportunity for a caring individual to become part of our dedicated team. The person-centred care we provide for our elderly and disabled clients enables them to remain living in their own homes. This rewarding position requires an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who puts others at the heart of all they do. Positions available across High Wycombe, Marlow, Beaconsfield, Princess Risborough and the surrounding areas.

We work with our clients and their families to ensure that they remain at the heart of their care planning, enabling them to retain their dignity and self-confidence and to continue to enjoy the respect of others.

Position will be subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and the right to work in the UK. Full clean valid driver’s licence and own transport is desirable or access to a bicycle. Walkers may be accepted dependent on area. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support our local clients – ensuring they continue to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
  • Ensure that the environment in which they live is safe and clean.
  • Provide companionship-based care and support.
  • Provide ongoing, continuity of care for service users.
  • Food preparation and serving meals to service users.
  • Assist and enable service users to dress, undress, wash, use the toilet and bathe.
  • Support with medication.

This job description is not exhaustive and will develop and change over time, within the boundaries of the job purpose.

Skills/Experience Required

  • Some care-based experience is preferable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Caring, kind, and enthusiastic.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Able to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • CPD/NVQ care-related course if no previous experience.

About the Role

  • Flexible working pattern (all shift patterns required, including mornings, evenings and weekends – full and part-time)
  • 28 days holiday per year inclusive of bank holidays (pro-rata)
  • Full, extensive and ongoing training – so previous experience is not essential
  • Mentoring system in place and 24-hour support and advice
