SureCare Swale provides Hampers Of Hope for Swale Foodbank

At the beginning of December, we at SureCare Swale donated Christmas hampers to Swale Foodbank in support of their annual Hampers Of Hope appeal.
As part of our efforts to support our local community, we wanted to get involved in this event and help families in need this Christmas. While this time of year is often filled with joy, warmth and happiness, that can sadly make it feel all the more difficult for those who are struggling.
Thanks to the wonderful generosity and the spirit of giving throughout the community, Swale Foodbank has received dozens upon dozens of Christmas hampers. Here at SureCare Swale, we’re proud to play our part too…
We loaded our hampers with Christmassy snacks, treats and small gifts that will help to bring a little extra joy to families in Swale on the big day. We also received some extra donations from SureCare’s national Head Office team to bulk up our boxes!
About Swale Foodbank
Supported by The Trussell Trust, Swale Foodbank is made up of dedicated volunteers working all year long to ensure nobody here goes hungry. Whether people have fallen on hard times or just need that little extra boost to keep going, the foodbank has proven itself to be a vital lifeline in our local community.
As well as operating out of 4 different centres every week, the volunteers have made an extra push this Christmas to collect and distribute hampers to nominated families and individuals needing the most support. Here at SureCare Swale, we’re proud to play our part in contributing to their overall efforts this year, as we start launching our own support and care services for people in the local community.
